Founded by Jonathan in 2009, Meridian is built on years of experience in both residential and commercial construction. With backgrounds and strengths that complement one another, Jonathan and Austin work closely with clients, architects, designers, and trusted tradespeople to keep every project moving thoughtfully and efficiently.

Jonathan earned his engineering degree from Texas Tech University and began his career with a large commercial construction firm before founding Meridian Custom Homes in 2009. His background in engineering and construction gives him a practical, solutions-oriented perspective at every stage of the building process. He enjoys working with a wide range of clients and values the passion they bring to creating a home that will become such an important part of their family’s life. His honest, transparent approach—along with clear communication, flexibility, and a strong work ethic—helps make the experience both personal and collaborative.
Jonathan is a proud father to his three children, Chloe, Charlotte, and Davis. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking, college football, live music and comedy, boating, and watersports.

AUSTIN TRAYLOR
COO
Austin earned his engineering degree from Texas Tech University and began his career in commercial construction before serving four years in the United States Marine Corps. He later joined Meridian Custom Homes, bringing disciplined leadership, close attention to detail, and a steady presence to every jobsite. As COO, Austin helps guide the day-to-day construction process and ensures that each project is carefully managed from planning through completion. His thoughtful, hands-on approach keeps projects moving forward while maintaining the craftsmanship and personal service that Meridian is known for.
Outside of work, Austin enjoys spending time with his wife, Shelby, and their two sons, Eli and Grady. When he’s not working, he spends time hunting, waterskiing, and golfing.
